I awoke this morning recollecting

a scene from my childhood

watching with awe a national geographic special

far away places - nature and people - all over the world

a photo journalist was what I wanted to be.

here I am today

traveling about

fulfilling a life-long dream

being inspired

and inspiring others 

writing and photographing 

A seed planted so many years ago.

I am so very content

doing what I love.

Where this shall lead me

I do not know.

My promise to self

is to remain open to each moment

expecting wonderful surprises

and glorious connections

in faith and trust

prepared for whatever lies ahead...
